Graduate Certificate in Neuroscience (Learning)
This course is designed to equip professionals working in a range
of fields with a basic knowledge of modern neuroscience delivered
in a context relevant to their professional practice. Students
will be enrolled in Flinders University, however, the course is
being taught by exceptional lecturers from Flinders University,
the University of South Australia and Adelaide University.
The overall educational aim of the program is to provide a framework for:
(1) understanding the principles of modern neuroscience;
(2) critically appraising the neuroscientific literature as it
applies to learning; and
(3) application of the principles of neuroscience to understanding
classroom practice and behaviour.
The course is currently only offered on a part-time basis and is usually taken in 2 semesters, comprising of 4 core topics.
