Science Outside the Square

Explore life's possibilities at Science Outside the Square. Established in 2005, SOS provides a program of events for South Australia that takes a fresh look at science.

Previous events included:

"Galileo: Night of the Stars" with Rob Morrison and panel members Marcello Costa, Romano Rubichi and Roger Clay. A fascinating historical, scientific and artistic insight into life in Galileo's Europe. August 2009.

"The Cosmic Distance Ladder" with Terence Tao. An exploration of the power of indirect measurement and the use of mathematics to cleverly augment observation. October 2009.
